CA Legal Practice Low Overhead-High Profitability

My firm is located in California with offices in Indio and Beverly Hills. My practice is primarily focused on civil litigation with an emphasis on the following areas: labor & employment, corporate, business to business disputes, class actions, real estate (commercial/residential) civil trials (bench or jury) in either state or federal court, appeals/writs, mediation, arbitration. Also, in addition, other areas that have a small portion of practice are family law and criminal law, but with 95% of the practice in civil litigation it is pretty active without the distraction of overextending into too many different areas of law.

When looking at the financial picture below, I think you would be hard pressed to find another attorney that is exceeding the profit margins by double digits consistently while keeping overhead and operating costs at almost a single percentage of gross capital decibels that are barely noticeable compared to the overwhelming amount of return that is pure unadulterated profit to the firm.

Based on the financials for 2021 to YTD 2025, as well as the fact that I have instituted guaranteed contracts with some of my clients to ensure regular streams of incoming revenue, as well as one such guaranteed contract that is for $300,000.00 annual with an option to renew an increase, I am in a solid position to ensure any purchaser will be able to reap the benefits of their investment through receiving a sizeable return.

My asking price is $600,000.00-$600,000.00 (USD) net sales price return and to ensure continuity and the buyer's return on their investment for a separate fix fee, I as the founder will continue on at the firm for 6 months to a year with the business in order to ensure a smooth transition and profitability for the Buyer to receive the complete benefit of the bargain.

Also, I have all financial records for 2022, 2023, 2024, and YTD 2025, accounting records showing annual profit, expenses, business records, guaranteed client contracts, and bank records sufficient to establish annual profitability as well as substantial earned fee receivables expected to be paid for increased cash flow over the next several months to ensure liquidity for new Buyer upon closing of sale.

Finally, I am looking for buyers who are ready to purchase immediately and, in all cash, as well as willing to resolve in good faith the few remaining terms and conditions necessary to find agreement on prior to execution of our Law Firm Business Purchase Agreement.
