70 Burger QSR Franchisee

Broker is working with the owner of 70 franchisee burger QSRs in the Northeast.

The business is within the large three: McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s. Because of franchisor non-compete clause, this business cannot be sold to a QSR burger competitor.

The owner has been in the business for 35 years and is ready to sell, providing a transition period. The owner is non-active but has a President who oversees the entire company and is expected to stay post-close.

Owner owns seven properties which he desires to own post-close.

AUV (Average Unit Volume) is $1.7 million versus franchisee average of $1.4 million.

2024 combined revenue is $116 million with $14.2 million normalized EBITDA. Add-backs include $2.5 million for back office operations if buyer has existing team and $500,000 owner discretionary spending for up to $17.2 million adjusted EBITDA.

2025 October YTD results are $92 million ($110.4 million annualized) with $6.7 million EBITDA ($8 million annualized). Business is experiencing industry wide sales reductions due to lower consumer demand for fast food choices plus initiating more aggressive discount promotions, driving down profits vs. 2024.
