Funding Is Wanted For Nordic Battery Farms

We are applying for project financing to establish battery energy storage systems (BESS)/electricity reserve markets in various Nordic countries, especially Finland, and the Baltic region.

The battery farms range in size from 1 MW to 50 MW, with financing needs between 1 and 30 million euros depending on the project size. The expected payback period is 5-6 years, with the possibility of a repayment-free first year. The industry typically sees an ROI of about 30% for smaller battery systems, with larger farms offering even higher returns. Our customers include state-owned grid companies, which act as reliable payers.

Battery warranties generally last 5 + 5 years, and the actual service life exceeds this significantly. Battery farms can be fully insured, and maintenance can be managed through affordable contracts with authorized service providers. Thus, over the next 10 years, income primarily consists of monthly payments from grid companies.
