Geology: Deformed Quartz veins hosted in graphitic argillite schist zone, with similarities to the Spanish Mountain (sediment hosted vein) gold deposit in the Caribou region of central British Columbia. The schist zone is geologically continuous and relatively flat lying, dipping at 10 to 15 degrees. The zone outcrops continuously around the cap of Blue Grouse Mountain. The height of the zone varies from 1 to 20 meters. The zone is a large low grade Au, Ag, Pb, Zn, Cu, and Graphite mineral deposit estimated to contain 18 – 20 Mil/tons. In 1988 a 1255/ton bulk sample was taken from four perimeter areas of the ore zone. The uncut, undiluted grade of the four areas averaged 0.056 oz/ton Au and 1.97 oz/ton Ag. The deposit has a very coarse nugget effect due to the distribution of the quartz sulfide veins and lenses. Exploratory metallurgical test work showed flotation recoveries of 95.49% Au, and 74.12% Ag. The entire deposit is contained within the boundaries of 9 Crown Granted Mineral claims. Annual taxes $152
