Overview

We invite interested persons to purchase our second mine, located within the Egbe-Isanlu schist belt of southwestern Nigeria, in Kogi State. It boasts a rich gold mining history dating back to the 1930s-1950s. This region is known for its primary gold-quartz veins and eluvial/alluvial placers.

• Key Geological Features:

- Shear zones: A series of gold-quartz veins is hosted by N-S and NNE-trending shear zones, which cut gneisses, schists, and amphibolites, creating a favorable environment for gold mineralization.

- Gold deposition: The area's alluvial deposits contain 1.1gram - 1.5 grams per ton gold, with mineralization starting at 4 meters depth and as low as 2 meters in stream beds.

- Similar geological terrain: The project area's terrain shares similarities with the Segilola gold mine(Nigeria's foremost gold mine), indicating potential for significant gold deposits.


• Current Exploration Activity:

The area is currently witnessing increased exploration activity, with Chinese mining companies finding easy access to communities for gold exploration on these shear zones. Additionally, a significant number of artisanal miners are making a living out of the high-grade gold in the area.
