The International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) began as a free zone in the emirate of Fujairah. It then moved to Dubai to take advantage of the growing business community. It is one of the newest free zones in Dubai.

The free zone is located within the premises of Dubai Silicon Oasis. It has dedicated facilities in Dubai Digital Park. A special agreement with Dubai Silicon Oasis allows businesses incorporated under its jurisdiction to operate there.
