Premium Nursery For The Production Of Walnut Trees

One of the largest and most successful wholesale nurseries for the production of walnut seedlings in Romania, produces and distributes a wide range of walnut varieties. With a production capacity of 50,000-70,000 plants per year in protected spaces, it can distribute plants in a containerized system, suitable for planting in a short period of time, about one year after grafting.

- 4 shaded solariums with an area of 3206 sq m with micro-sprinkling irrigation systems

- 3 modules with controlled atmosphere (forced chambers): temperature, humidity and oxygen level built from heat-insulating metal panels

- mother orchard for walnut scion wood on an area of 1.45 ha where the walnut varieties are genetically preserved: Geoagiu 65, Geoagiu 961, Sibișel 44, Sibișel 522, Germisara, Claudia-Ioana, Ciprian-Ion, Jupânesti, Şușita - varieties of walnut listed in the Official Catalog of cultivated plant varieties in Romania, being awarded over time at domestic and international thematic competitions. The amount of grafting branches that can be harvested from this mother plantation at the moment would be enough to make over 100,000 grafts.
