Premium Pizza Restaurant and Bar Franchise

We represent the franchisor and owner of a full-service, licensed premium pizza franchise located in the Golden Horseshoe in Southern Ontario. The store is currently owned and operated corporately and serves as the flagship location within a regional franchise network. The business includes dine-in service, a seasonal outdoor patio, and a takeout and delivery. The restaurant is the winner of several regional “Best Pizza” awards.

Store sales have grown from $1.43 million for the twelve months ended May 31, 2022 to $1.85 million for the same fiscal period in 2024. Annual normalized EBITDA ranged from $100,000 to $270,000 over the past three fiscal years. In the most recent year, food and beverage (non-alcoholic) represented approximately seventy-one percent (71%) of total sales, with alcohol sales making up the balance. Gross margins on food and beverage sales averaged sixty percent (60%) in the 2024 fiscal year. As the business is a franchise, all revenues are subject to a five percent (5.0%) royalty fee and subject to the issuance of a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and Franchise Agreement (FA) by the franchisor. No other fees are currently being paid by the franchise.

The sale includes all furniture, fixtures, and equipment, as well as leasehold improvements, providing a turnkey setup for continued operations. Monthly Rent and Additional Rent (TMI) total approximately six thousand seven-hundred and fifty dollars ($6,750) per month before taxes. Current staff include two full-time supervisors and approximately twenty-five part-time front-of-house and kitchen staff. Staff are trained and have many years of industry experience, with an average tenure of two and half years’ experience on premises. Purchaser has the option of retaining current staff (subject to agreement with each staff member), except for the General Manager position which must be filled by purchaser post-sale.
