The License for exploration is issued within the boundaries of the site with iron ore reserves explored and estimated in the 60-70s of the Soviet era. The explored reserves were estimated at 21 million tons of iron ore. The license is valid until end of 2027, with the possibility of renewal for 4 years.

2,285 m core drilling, 16 wells within 7 profiles drilled Geophysical surveys (magnetometry) have been carried out

An optimized career with the most effective economic parameters has been formed Two intervals have been allocated for technological testing – low-sulfur (76% of reserves) and high-sulfur intervals (24% of reserves) in order to develop the most effective processing schemes.
Work is underway to allocate the reserves for future mining operations
The expected ore quality during mining is Fe – 37-41%, S - 4%, P - 0.044%, SiO2 - 18%, Al2O3 - 4%. Expected ore reserves are 9.4 million tons, the overburden coefficient of the optimized quarry is 3.62 m3/t
According to the results of dry and wet magnetic separation tests on a Davis tube, a concentrate with a content of Fe - 71.99%, S - 0.28% was obtained.
As a result, the Institute recommend the following processing scheme - ore crushing, dry magnetic separation, after that milling of the ore to 0.074 mm, with the following wet magnetic separation to obtain iron ore concentrate Fe - 67.5%, S - 0.16%, P - 0.005%, SiO2 - 2%, Al2O3 - 0.66%. The extraction of Fe – 78.45%, the yield is 48%.
The iron ore is easily beneficiated. The main ore-forming minerals are magnetite
(44%/31%) and pyrite (7%/27%). The share of Fe-mag in the low-sulphur interval is 80%, and in the high-sulphur interval 57%
