At the start-up of the old Guadamur graphite mines in Toledo, Spain. We are actively looking for companies or individuals specialized in the exploitation and distribution of graphite who are interested in investing, becoming equity partners or acquiring this mine, to continue with the soil investigation process and the reactivation of the mine. in which the discovery of secondary minerals of great importance such as Rhodium and Gold has been made.
Location and access
The mine is located in Spain, 10km from Toledo and 80km from Madrid, 500m from the CM401 highway and can be seen on Google Maps as the old mining preserve of Guadamur. It has an area of 4 mining blocks under exploitation concession (120ha) and 38 mining blocks under research (1140ha).
Description
Studies were carried out in the Guadamur Graphite Mines with two main objectives. Firstly, assessments were carried out on the clays present in the mine, which are currently used by the CerĂ¡mica Las Losas SL factory. These analyzes focused on determining the quality and properties of these clays, which is essential for the production of high-quality ceramics.
Secondly, more extensive investigations were carried out on the graphite deposit itself. Previous studies dating back to 1959 provided valuable information on the composition and characteristics of the site. These studies indicated that the graphite deposit is formed through a series of medium volume pockets, and these pockets vary in terms of graphite concentration, varying grades from 3% to 5% in the poor ones; 5% to 20% in the medium ones and 20% to 60% in the richest areas, these can take the form of veins, and the rock in which the graphite is found is mainly gneiss and pegmatite.
In addition to graphite, secondary minerals of great importance were identified. One of the notable minerals is rhodium, which is found in certain areas of the deposit. Rhodium is a precious metal with a high economic value according to the New York Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange, which adds an additional element of interest and potential economic benefit to the mining project.
Our objective is to reactivate the extraction of these valuable minerals from the old graphite mines of Guadamur, which we currently use as a quarry to extract clay for the manufacture of bricks. The areas that house these precious minerals remain in their original state, allowing them to be exploited both open pit and in mines, available for use.
It is important to note that our mining concession has all the documentation in order, supporting the viability and legality of this project.
