An experienced CPA-Associated Tax Accountant and Business Executive based in the NYC area has engaged broker to identify acquisition opportunities within one of these locations: the Greater NYC area, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or Boca Raton, FL. The buyer is seeking a well-established accounting practice with annual gross revenue between $1mm to $5mm. Notably, this buyer is keenly interested in a practice that has 1) corporate and personal tax returns 2) a strong focus on bookkeeping; and 3) business advisory.


The buyer will bring to the acquired practice an energetic nature and strong growth aspirations; bolstering this growth plan is twenty-five years of robust accounting expertise in bookkeeping, individual tax preparation, controller experience, and business advisory.


Post-acquisition, the buyer seeks a seamless transition and will prioritize strong client retention; preserving the legacy and reputation of the acquired firm for existing and future clients is a top priority. To assure this, the seller should be willing to remain with the practice through at least the upcoming tax season, with a negotiable option for a longer-term, part-time arrangement, if the seller is interested.
