Invitations are requests from members who want to connect with you. They might want to connect for various reasons, such as being in a similar industry or starting a professional conversation. Accepting an invitation helps build your professional network. You can view your open invitations by going to Connect and clicking on Invitations.
DealMail is DealStream's messaging platform. Once you are Connected with another member, you can engage in conversations with them via DealMail. You can send DealMail by going to Connect and clicking on Your Connections. From there, find the member you'd like to message and click the green Send Message button. To see DealMail messages you have sent or received, go to Messages on your dashboard and click on DealMail.
Listing Inquiries are inquiries about specific opportunities posted on our site, such as businesses or real estate for sale. You can inquire about a listing by clicking the green Send Inquiry button found on every listing page. You can view listing inquiries you've sent or received by going to Messages and then clicking on Listing Inquiries.
Important: Please use Listing Inquiries (not DealMail) when contacting members about specific listings. This ensures your inquiries are visible on your dashboard, visible to advertisers, and included in your analytics.
